Welcome!

We love trail running.  Probably as much as you.  That's why we work hard to bring you one of the most amazing trail running events around.  With your choice of a 29K mountain run or 16K trail run - there's an event that fits the way you like to roll.

~ Jen Silverthorn & Jamie Nott, Race Directors

So you're running with your friends and finally someone suggests it's time to take it off road.  Then you realize, "Hey, this is really cool".  You love getting away from the bustle of the city and before long you're addicted.  You are a trail runner.

Join us on September 6, 2008 for the 15th Annual Moose Mountain Trail Races.  We are proud to be part of the Trailrunner Trophy Series.  Bragg Creek is located 45 minutes west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  Scroll below to learn more and register.  And if you're looking for more information please drop us a line at 403-282-3554 or email.

Water/aid stations are available along the 16K course at 8K only.  Along the 29K course, aid stations are available at 9K, 13K, 16K and 20K.  Due to high winds and unpredictable conditions, all 29K runners must carry a windproof jacket with them. Start time for the 29K is 9:00am and the 16K starts at 11:00am from the West Bragg Creek Parking Lot.

To reduce environmental impact in this pristine recreation area, all runners and volunteers are encouraged to bring refillable water bottles on course as well as a plate, bowl, cup and utensils for the post race meal.  Recycling station is available at the finish line for beverage containers and we will accept returned bib pins.

Entry fee is $40 and includes lunch, chance at great draw prizes and cool gear (guaranteed for entries received by August 15 but we'll do our best to accommodate).  $5 late entry fee applies on and after August 15.  Awards will be presented to the top three open and 40+ male and female racers in each distance.
